It’s been the utmost honor growing along with these sweet friends as they grow their family! Their faces might look a little familiar: I shot their engagement and wedding last year, their one year anniversary celebration this year, and now their newborn photos! A shock to no one, Kortney and Matt are phenomenal parents and it was such a joy to see them in action, even if it was just for an hour during their session. Briar is the luckiest little girl to have them as role models and parents.

Kortney and Matt are currently living in Grand Rapids, MI but happened to be in Wisconsin a month after Briar was born for a wedding. I was so happy it worked out for them to come to my downtown Milwaukee studio for portraits! As you can see, the all-white studio makes for near perfect photos in terms of lighting– so if you are ever considering doing any kind of newborn/ family photos with me but know your home has less than ideal lighting, know that using my studio is always an option!
