Emily and Alex’s wedding day is finally here (which I know is how just about EVERYONE was feeling last Sunday!)! It’s been a long time coming for these two– they met in high school and have already celebrated their 10 year dating anniversary, so I’m sure they are the most excited of all of us to FINALLY be husband and wife!

Their day was spent alongside their closest family and friends, and I truly feel like they were actually able to ENJOY their wedding day. It sounds weird, but so often weddings are spent rushing from one thing to the next, and never having enough time to talk with every person you invite. This day was different- they built the day around spending meaningful time with their closest 24 guests, and they truly got to enjoy the presence of every person there.

Which brings me to the main event- the MEAL! You may know that I am Italian by marriage, and so there’s nothing I love more than a long, delicious meal that isn’t rushed. This wedding dinner was the reception of my DREAMS! Prepared all at The Chef’s Table, there were four courses, made in house by Chef David Magnasco, with wine pairings for each. I’ve never photographed so much food at a wedding in my LIFE but I couldn’t help it- every detail was thought of when it came to presentation! There was even a flight of homemade gelato for dessert… you can’t really beat that!

Emily and Alex- being with you on your big day was so special for me! I wish you both the absolute best, and I know you are living it up in Utah on your honeymoon! Cheers!
