The first engagement session of the year is here, and I have to say- it feels SO good to be back doing what I love! There’s something about Milwaukee’s Third Ward that makes it feel so classic for engagement photos. I was so happy when Jackie and Drew chose this spot for their portraits. These two are just about as easygoing and happy as they come! They made a special trip to Milwaukee from St. Louis where they’re currently living (Drew plays on a semi-pro football team there, how cool is that?!). The Third Ward was the perfect backdrop for their photos, and we totally lucked out with beautiful March weather to boot.
Drew proposed to Jackie at his parents’ lake house- it was intimate and special, just as Jackie wanted. They’re planning a beautiful fall wedding at the Wisconsin Club and I’m already dreaming of photographing them with that stunning architecture and fall leaves! See you two in seven short months!
