This is it: my last engagement session of 2020! And it sure ended with a bang!! Meet Emily and Adam, my new best friends and the sweetest, kindest people ever. From the very first email, I knew Emily was my kind of person (and if she was marrying Adam, I knew he’d be as well!). We spend a large portion of our Zoom consultation just talking like old friends, and I’m so grateful that this job has brought Adam and Emily into my life. I can see this friendship far outlasting the time from now to the wedding💖

They chose Lapham Peak for their fall engagement photos because it they would frequently come here while dating to walk/hike. I love when an engagement session location has a special significance to my couples! When we shot, we were facing temps in the high 30s and 25 mph wind gusts… but looking at these two, you’d NEVER guess they were cold! They were total champs when it came to braving the late fall weather Wisconsin threw at us 🙂

Adam proposed to Emily at Wollersheim Winery & Distillery (and they even brought me a bottle of rosé from this winery to the engagement session! It was a BEYOND sweet gesture, and can now attest that Wollersheim’s rosé is delicious 😉 ). Emily thought something *might* be happening, but when it came down to the exact moment of the proposal, she was totally caught off guard and speechless, in the best way possible!! They will be getting married at the beautiful Carriage House at Lac La Belle next September, and I may or may not have the countdown memorized by heart!!
