I got to travel back to my home state of Michigan for this wedding, and boy was the barn wedding waiting for me a TREAT!!
There aren’t many brides that put in as much effort as Ainsley did to make their wedding day uniquely their own. From the twinkle lights to the vintage plates, every detail was accounted for and arranged just so. Detail-heavy weddings are so fun for me to photograph, so I was pretty much in my own photographer heaven this whole day! I love how every little detail, be it the s’mores favors or the personalized wood guest book sign, help tell the story not only of the wedding day, but of the couple themselves. It’s easy to see that both Ainsley and Michael put so much thought and care into their relationships with friends and family that it naturally spilled over into their wedding planning, and them wanting their guests to have the best experience possible.
And in case it’s not obvious already- Ainsley and Michael are both incredibly kind. They both asked me multiple times throughout their wedding day what I needed, though normally it’s the other way around! I felt truly cared for, and know that every other person in the room felt the same way. Ainsley and Michael- your love for each other and the people you care about is so inspiring to witness. I feel so lucky to have been the one entrusted to document this day, and I look forward to hearing all about your tropical honeymoon to Anna Maria Island!
I love this first “touch!”
