“Love each other like your life depends on it, because it does.” Leah’s stepdad offered this advice in his speech before dinner, saying it as a sort of benediction over the room full of family and closest friends. The flickering candlelight mimicked the twinkle in everyone’s eyes as he closed by recounting the line of 200+ years of successful marriage in the generations that came before Leah and Mason. It was clear that though today was the start of something new, it was also very much a continuation of things that started long ago. I think that’s one of the beautiful paradoxes of marriage; though we are finite people, the legacy of your marriage lives on long after you do.

Leah and Mason’s day was filled with so many special touches. From Leah popping bubbly in matching pjs with her bridesmaids and Mason’s tie clip that was engraved with an inside joke with his groomsmen, to having their good friend be the one to actually marry them! It was all very personal and unique to them. And I would be remiss to not end with the biggest and best surprise of the night– when Bucky came out to the dance floor during the celebration of Wisconsin’s earlier win over Michigan! The Pritzlaff was buzzing with excitement and I am so glad to have captured the look of literal PURE excitement and shock on Leah’s face when she saw him (keep scrolling!).

Leah and Mason, you are each other’s perfect match and forever partner- and I couldn’t be happier for you two. I hope you enjoy reliving the day as much as I did, and that you are having the best time on your honeymoon! Cheers!

I love these two shots! Wedding days are EXHAUSTING!! haha!

This is the look of PURE excitement when you find out your groom got Bucky to surprise you at your wedding reception!
