Well, it seems that despite my college degree in English, I have very little words to describe the perfection of this Lauren and Jordan’s wedding day. I keep scrolling through these pictures and think to myself, “WHAT. A. DAY.” From the long anticipated first look to the confetti floating through the air as they recessed down the aisle after their kiss- it was all perfectly Lauren and Jordan.

I love when I have the privilege of knowing my brides and groom for a while before their wedding day. In the case of Lauren and Jordan, I first met Lauren for coffee almost a whole YEAR ago! We did their engagement photos in the late fall, and ever since I have been looking forward to this day. When you see Lauren around Jordan, you can tell that her joy and confidence comes from a deep knowledge of how much she is loved, cherished, and safe with Jordan. I love seeing how love can actually make someone a better, truer version of themselves, and Lauren and Jordan are both testaments to that.

And it’s no surprise that behind two amazing people are two incredible families. The whole day I was watching Lauren and her three siblings interact I was thinking how I wanted what they have for my own children. Her two sisters wrote bridesmaid speeches AND performed a five minute song for them; now that’s love!! Also, can we just talk for a minute about how much your family and friends can DANCE?!! Lauren- you weren’t kidding when you told me that! Seriously- their dance floor was always packed and had some pretty great moves goin’ on.

Lauren and Jordan- being your wedding photographer was an absolute privilege and joy! I wish we could relive this day over and over, but since that’s not possible I’m hoping these pictures will be a good second place 🙂 Congrats again, and happy first week of being married!
