Love is often found in the most unlikely places, and for Lauren and Jordan this couldn’t be more true! They met while working the same shift at UW-Whitewater’s weight room SEVEN years ago! Their love is fresh and natural, with their seven years of history creating a solid foundation for their lifetime together. Jordan proposed almost a year ago while on a mini-vacation to Door County (Cave Point Park to be exact!) and the rest is history! Being that they live in Waukesha now, Retzer Nature Preserve was the perfect location for their engagement photos this past Sunday. Our shoot was originally scheduled for Saturday, but Saturday happened to be our first SNOW here in Wisconsin (I can’t even…) and with low temps and high wind gusts, I’m glad we were able to push it back to Sunday.

Lauren brought along a warm blanket for some photos which only added to the coziness of the day! I applaud Lauren and Jordan for being champs about the cold, and though they reassured me multiple times that “it wasn’t that bad out,” still- it was 34 degrees! You’d never know that though, because looking at their photos the only thing you can feel is looooove 🙂 Lauren and Jordan are tying the knot next June at the Oconomowoc Community Center and I will be excitedly counting down the next 8 months until their big day!

Lauren, you are stunning!

Jordan has obviously already nailed his “smize” for the big day!

As I was editing these, I thought that Megan Markle and Prince Harry might be their celebrity couple doppelganger – what do you all think!?
