95% of the time, I meet my couples in person for the first time at their engagement session. But, in the case of Emily and AJ, I was actually lucky enough to have met them three years ago! Emily was maid of honor at her sister’s wedding, and her joy and warmth that day made a lasting impression on me. I met AJ that day as well, and snapped a cute photo of them by the lake. From that day, I wondered if I’d ever have the honor of photographing their wedding, and as my good fortune would allow- here we are!!

Emily is a second grade teacher (hello, patience!) and AJ is an architect (hello, precision!) and together they are home. You can tell they are each other’s best friends by the way they laugh and talk when they’re with each other. Next spring, they are tying the knot at Thornberry Creek at Oneida and I simply cannot wait- it’s been four years in the making!
