It’s always a distinct honor to photograph maternity portraits (maybe because I’m used to weddings, they just seem extra special? Maybe it’s because I’m a mom and just sappy at the thought of parenthood?). Anyway, maternity is just special to me. However, it’s extra special when I get to capture it for people that I already know! I was thrilled and honored (as Alison is a photographer herself!) when one of my second shooters, Alison of Grace Creatives, asked me to photograph her maternity portraits.

Mount Mary was literally the perrrrrfect spot to snap some portraits, and it made me wonder why I don’t shoot there more often! There’s so many beautiful pockets, with the stunning architecture/ cream brick, green trees, flowers, a fountain, not to mention- the most stunning golden hour light! Enjoy seeing a peek into this beautiful couple’s session, and I can’t wait until August when Baby Kroening makes his or her debut!
