Most brides, if they choose to do a first look, only have one big reveal: to their soon-to-be spouse. Olivia, however, had two significant first looks: one with her groom, and another with her dad. In both situations, Justin and her dad, Andy, were crying well before ever seeing Olivia. It was as if the emotion and significance of seeing their girl on her wedding day manifested itself tangibly in the form of [happy] tears. Happy, emotional tears on a wedding day aren’t unusual. Yet, Olivia and Justin’s wedding day waterworks were stemming from a place other than the normal excitement. It was clear to me, an “observer” to this all, that it was the pureness of who Justin and Olivia are, both separately and together, that was the reason for the emotion. You would be hard pressed to find any other couple that was more genuine and inherently joyful to their absolute core. And so, when two people like that find each other in freshman math class and get married 11 years later, you better believe there’s going to be some waterworks 🙂

Olivia and Justin’s entire wedding celebration took place at The Bowery Barn on the most perfect summer day. Guests gathered in the field for the ceremony and then headed to the newly renovated barn for cocktails, dinner, and dancing. The entire place was buzzing with love and happiness! I’ve said this before but it’s worth saying again: you WILL NOT find a more joyful person than Olivia on her wedding day. Multiple times I stopped and looked at Kari & Carley and said, “can you believe how happy/ beautiful/ joyful she is?!!”

Olivia and Justin, I am so excited to watch you on your journey of marriage. You have amazing models to look up to and also will be models to your siblings of a beautiful marriage. It was an honor to be alongside you on your happiest day ever, and I hope you enjoy this sneak peek!
