Hooray!! I think it’s FINALLY engagement season (though Milwaukee has a few more weeks until we have reliable warmth outside) and I couldn’t be more excited to kick it off with these two! Kaitlin and Kyle chose the Milwaukee Domes (or Mitchell Park Domes, same thing!) as their backdrop for their session. We kept pretending we were in Arizona and Florida, forgetting for a minute that the bleak Milwaukee weather was on the other side of the terrarium wall.  I love shooting at the Domes- the lighting is great, the colors are beautiful, and even when it doesn’t look pretty outside, you can have stunning photos that don’t require a plane ticket or winter jacket!

But if I’m being honest here, our surroundings were hardly the focus of the day. Kaitlin and Kyle steal your attention when they enter the room in the BEST way possible! They are warm and genuine, the kind of people who LISTEN to your answer when they ask a question. It felt like I had known them for years, though we’ve only ever exchanged a handful of emails and a phone call before meeting.

Kaitlin and Kyle have known each other basically their whole lives. I love their love story, and how after years of knowing each other and being in contact, they decided to officially date two years ago and the rest was history! Kyle proposed on Christmas day with the PRETTIEST ring ever without much hinting from Kaitlin! These two have got me counting the days until their November wedding 🙂 Enjoy some of my faves from their session below!
