I am so happy for you to all meet Stephanie and Will- a power couple if I’ve ever met one! They are sweet, welcoming, and up for anything. Stephanie first met Will at a bar (of all places!) where she says he attempted to woo her for over an hour 😉 It worked- they danced the night away and had their first date at an Atlanta Braves game shortly thereafter. And here we are now, taking their engagement photos in Milwaukee’s Third Ward!

Will and Stephanie flew in from Virginia to get their portraits taken, and also surprised Stephanie’s dad by being home on his birthday! I thought that was so sweet! Their family met them after their session for one last meal together before they got on a plane Monday to head home. I was so glad to be a part of such a sweet trip! For their session, we wandered around the Third Ward of downtown Milwaukee on a perfect-weathered Sunday evening. We started with drinks at Cafe Benelux’s rooftop, meandered through the shopping district (I waved to Anthropologie from afar!), and ended at The Outsider, the Kimpton Journeyman’s rooftop bar. I figured on a Sunday night, The Outsider wouldn’t be too crowded, but it was FILLED with people! Will pointed out that the Packer fans needed a place to drown their sorrows (they had just lost a few hours before- can you tell he’s NOT a Packers fan?!? haha). But even despite the crowds, we found a cozy corner with some amazing view of the city behind them.

These two are so clearly each other’s “person,” from the way Will makes Stephanie laugh to how they dance together on a street corner in their own world. I am beyond excited for their Boerner Botanical Garden (click here to see a wedding I did at Boerner Botanical Gardens earlier this summer!) nuptials next August and until then I’ll be staring at these!
