Where to start?! Being with Kelsey and Carlos on their wedding day was nothing short of a literal DREAM. They were so genuinely happy and excited the entire day long; it was infectious. From the most touching, tearful first look to a night that ended with cotton candy and sparklers- I’d easily relive this day over and over (and my guess is they would too 😉 ).

Kelsey and Carlos had a beautiful bi-lingual wedding ceremony at St. James 1868. You better believe that I was getting teary as Kelsey recited part of her vows in Spanish! They involved loved ones in the ceremony in many special ways, including Carlos’s grandpa holding onto the wedding bands until it was time to exchange them. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour complete with a mariachi, Mexican street corn appetizers, and personalized ‘Mr. & Mrs. Sanchez’ drinkware.

Meanwhile, a wonderful team of vendors (see credits below!) transformed the ceremony space into the most romantic and classic reception venue. Candles and florals decorated the tables, and the five tier cake exploded with pink flowers! It was unlike anything I’ve seen! After many heart-felt speeches and an outfit change for Kelsey, we gathered outside to snap fun photos with their cotton candy and sparklers under the twinkle lights. Guests danced the night away, stopping only for a Chicago-style hotdog, to visit the photo booth, or gawk at the live painter, Kristina’s, incredible talent! It was a night I won’t soon forget 🙂

Kelsey and Carlos- words don’t seem to do justice with the love I have for you two, or the way your families welcomed me into the day as one of their own. This day and you two will forever hold a special spot in my heart! Thank you for trusting me with the honor of documenting your wedding day! Cheers to the Sanchezes!
