We’re back with a super special wedding- Naomi and Dylan’s Madison wedding at MMOCA and the Overture Center! I actually got to meet Naomi and Dylan a year ago when I shot Dylan’s sister’s wedding– so when they inquired about their own wedding date I was over the moon to be with them on their special day! Naomi promised lots of color and fun details, and boy did she deliver! She made all of the floral arrangements herself with the help of some devoted friends, and even had a Secret Jar at her reception (something I’ve never seen before!!) where guests were encouraged to share an anonymous secret with the bride and groom. Their friends even built and decorated the chuppah for Naomi and Dylan’s ceremony themselves!
The girls finished their preparations at The Overture Center and then we headed to the Capitol for photos. The ceremony was held in the rooftop sculpture garden of MMOCA which overlooked the beautiful Orpheum Theater (which boasted a personalized marquee for the couple- see below!) and had the capitol’s gleaming white dome in the background. We headed back to the Overture Center for dinner and dancing, making it one day and night to certainly remember!
Noami and Dylan- thank you for letting me be the one to photograph your special day! You two are clearly a wonderful match for each other, and I can’t wait to see what comes next for you! Mazel tov!
