Nellie and Greg’s wedding was the epitome of classic and timeless- from white satin and pearls to black bow ties and gold accents, every inch of their day had been curated and intentionally selected. I literally couldn’t get enough of it all! Their day started at the beautiful St. James 1868, a European-inspired venue that fit the black, white, and gold theme perfectly. The same priest who married Nellie’s parents decades earlier came out of retirement to marry Nellie and Greg, which added such a nice sentimental touch.

After the ceremony, we headed to the Milwaukee Public Library for bridal party photos (who knew this building boasted the most stunning and intricate architecture?! It fit the theme to a tee!) and drove past Marquette’s varsity theater where Nellie had the marquee personalized as a surprise for Greg. After a stop lakeside, we headed to The Pfister Hotel for the rest of the night’s festivities! Cocktail hour included a champagne tower (!!!) and personalized his + hers cocktails complete with cotton candy garnish. The reception space had no flowers, but instead was lit by no less than 600 candles. It made such a huge impact, especially as the sun set and the room naturally grew darker. I had yet to see something like that, and it was truly breathtaking.

Nellie has the purest heart- beautiful inside and out, and Greg is as kind and fun as they come! They’re truly a pair that fit perfectly together. Nellie and Greg- I will be thinking of you both and this incredible day for years to come! Thank you for letting me be the one to witness it alongside you.
