How cute are these two!? Introducing Tara and Michael, some of the most thoughtful people you’ll meet. When I showed up at the start of their engagement session, they had a neck fan (!!) and bottle of ice cold water waiting for me. My pregnant self was so excited, haha! We wandered all around Pheasant Branch Conservancy for their engagement session, taking full advantage of its beautiful and diverse scenic backgrounds. It was a warm July evening, but these two never once complained (extra props go to Michael, as he was in a full suit the whole time!), and I could’ve literally talked with them for hours after we were done. They are kind, family oriented, and just over the top sweet- and I am SO happy they have found their match in each other!

Tara and Michael’s story of how they met is extra special- Tara says she was a day away from deleting all dating apps when she came across Michael’s profile. They both went into their first date with low expectations (Michael was leaving for a long work trip in a few days, so he said if it didn’t work it wasn’t a big deal; Tara was ready to give one more guy a shot before she fully embraced “cool aunt” life). And much to their surprise, they really hit it off! A year later, Michael proposed with a ring he helped custom design, and the rest is history! They will tie the knot next June at the beautiful Monona Terrace in downtown Madison, and I cannot WAIT to spend their big day with them!
