Elle and Christian’s wedding day blog post is finally here! It feels like it’s been such a long time coming for this- they first booked me 18 months ago, and I’ve spent from then until last Saturday awaiting their special day. Despite meeting them both for the first night the night before their wedding, walking in to any room with these two makes you feel like you’re just old friends catching up. However, after meeting and knowing Christian and Elle, it’s not a surprise that their kind and hospitable selves were surrounded by the same kind of friends and family. I will never forget just how genuinely caring and helpful they are, asking to help with anything I needed, offering me drinks, holding my umbrella- literally any possible need was anticipated! That sort of thing leaves an impression on vendors that work 20+ weddings a year!
And while the forecast was enough to make any photographer or bride sweat, we ended up catching so many breaks of rain that you may have not even noticed that it rained off and on the whole day! Their first look was also in arguably the most beautiful places I’ve ever shot a first look: beautiful green trees overlooking Beaver Lake (one of the clearest lakes in the world: you can see straight down to the bottom even out in the middle of the lake, I’m told!). We headed to St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church for their wedding Mass, and back to Chenequa Country Club to dance the night away with their LIVE BAND!
Elle and Christian, thank you for letting me be a part of your wedding day! Your love for each other is so apparent, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for the new Mr. & Mrs. Paese!
