I am SO excited to feature Kimberly and Nick’s engagement session today! Our time together was relaxed, easy, and full of laughs along the way. I’m pretty sure that one of the reasons we got along so well was because they are both teachers- and my teaching roots run deep. Nick and I even discovered that the same principal had hired us (not at the same school, obviously- the principal had moved schools)!  Teachers are some of my favorite people in the world. They are so instrumental in forming our collective future, and also are down to earth (because let’s face it- being around kids that much, you can’t take life too seriously!).

Kimberly and Nick met in college and were best friends for four years before starting to date. From my outsider’s perspective, it is obvious that their relationship is built on a strong foundation of friendship. They are playful and fun, while also being warm and intimate. Fast forward to this past Christmas: Nick popped the question in the company of both of their families!

I am anxiously awaiting Kimberly and Nick’s wedding next year at a brand new venue, the Carriage House of Lac La Belle. I cannot wait to celebrate with you and your closest family and friends then!
