In honor of today being Christmas (and a time when I have extra help with Anastasia = extra time to work!), I am finally getting around to blogging Chelsea’s winter wedding from the first of this month. I second shot this wedding for Brittney Mangold and as I’ve said before, I LOVE second shooting! It allows me more creative freedom because I’m not worried about posing or being the “ringleader” of the day. Chelsea loves winter (hence why she chose December 1 to get married!) though it actually RAINED all day instead of snowing! Despite the weather, everyone was such troopers and we managed to get all the portraits that we needed!

Chelsea and Ryan got married at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Pleasant Prairie, WI and held their reception at the beautiful Mercantile Hall in Burlington. I particularly loved their florals, done by Pink Opal, which included plentiful greenery decorating all of the reception tables. Chelsea’s blush, sparkly dress really fit the tone of the day. And yes, even though it was raining pretty steadily by the end of the night, Chelsea and Ryan’s awesome wedding party still braved the elements to get some great sparkler portraits to round out the night. Chelsea and Ryan- thanks for letting me tag along on your wonderfully winter wedding day!
