Margaret and Zach were simply bubbling with joy and excitement all day long! It was wonderful to be back with a family that has come to mean so much to me, and witnessing the second of the Hodan girls’ weddings will certainly be a highlight of my 2024 season! We started the day getting ready at the beautiful Bluemound Country Club, and the weather absolutely cooperated with photos! Just as we were wrapping up to head to the ceremony, it started to rain. Yet it blessedly cleared by the start of cocktail hour and we even had a glorious glow for golden hour photos!

I caught Zach’s mom whisper to Margaret, “seven years!” as she zipped up her dress. This day has been a long time coming, certainly; Zach and Margaret met while at Notre Dame for undergrad. After multiple out-of-state moves and surviving medical school, they are finally married (and Zach is a doctor!), ready to settle down in Wauwatosa for the start of married life. Their excitement (and relief that the years of long distance are behind them) was palpable all day long; I don’t think a grin left their faces all day!

What an incredible day to celebrate the Le Menses. Thank you for letting me be a small part of it! I look forward to seeing what is next for you!
